Swindon u3a 2025/26 Membership Application Form

From 1st March, the Swindon u3a membership fee for 1-September-2025 to 31-August-2026 is £5.00 per member.
Note that some groups have additional charges. Please look at the group details to find any charges.
If you are a member of another u3a which pays your Third Age Trust fee, your membership fee is £2.75.

If you can subscribe to Gift Aid, your £5.00 would be worth £6.25 at no cost to you.

Gift Aid allows Swindon u3a to recover tax from HM Revenue and Customs on a subscription. Each applicant for whom we claim Gift Aid must pay enough UK Income or Capital Gains Tax in the financial year to cover the amount we will reclaim. If you and/or the second applicant are a tax payer and wish Swindon u3a to treat the subacription as a Gift Aid donation, please tick the appropriate box below.

Payment details:
  • Paying via on-line banking incurs zero cost for Swindon u3a
  • Credit or debit card payments cost 69p per £35.
  • Cheque payments cost 62p per cheque.

  • When you submit your application, depending on how you are paying, you will either be asked to supply a specific payment reference, e.g. your cheque number, or be given one.
    • Please supply or use the payment reference as requested, as this enables the Office to match up applications to payments.

  • When your membership is processed, you will receive a welcome email which will give you your membership number and a link to your membership card.
