The Group meets 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month from 8th September 2019 in Various venues chosen by leaders from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm.

We walk on 2nd & 4th Sundays in the month. Group members take turns in leading the walk. We aim to do about 3 miles, depending on the terrain. In summer we get out to the countryside, though winter walks tend to be on hard paths.

Sunday lunch together is an integral part of group membership. We usually meet at the pub car park where we will be eating later, though we do use public car parks and road sides occasionally to park. Some of the walks are far from public transport, so a car is needed.
We do not rush at it - hence the name of the group - if there is a curiosity or a lovely view to take in, then we do!
